Subject: Urgent Appeal Regarding Alleged Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide in Gaza
Dear Excellency,
With reference to my repeated letters submitted last month concerning the alleged crimes against humanity and genocide in Gaza perpetrated by the Israeli regime, I hereby present to Your Excellency a photograph taken a few days ago by Jordanian relief pilots over the Gaza Strip.
If these actions do not constitute a policy of scorched earth, forced displacement, genocide, and crimes against civilians, what else can they be called? Does the killing of children and civilians, aimlessly and with the intent of land appropriation and population displacement, not evoke memories of the Holocaust and the atrocities committed by the Nazis during World War II?
We urgently request Your Excellency, the United Nations Security Council, and all humanitarian and law-abiding nations to respond decisively to these aggressions. We call for the condemnation of Israel’s actions and the imposition of necessary penalties in accordance with international human rights law, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and its Optional Protocols, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights against those responsible for these crimes.
With hopes for a free world without war and bloodshed,
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Alireza Chizari
